Parents & Friends Association
The Parents & Friends Association (P&F) is an integral part of the school community. The association provides a chance to engage with and enhance the educational experience of your child/children. Every parent is welcome to participate in the P&F and there are many ways to become involved some of which include:
- Volunteering in the canteen and various other activities throughout the year e.g. Mother's Day Stalls, St Patrick’s Day
- Joining the Executive Committee
- Participating in the monthly meetings
- Supporting our fundraising activities
- Becoming a Federation Delegate
P&F meetings are held monthly on a Wednesday evening (usually the second Wednesday of the month during school terms), with the date and venue advised in the school newsletter and on our website. These meetings allow you to find out what is happening at school and make suggestions or raise any concerns that may exist. Parents work together with the Principal and staff to help make the school experience a memorable one for every child. Occasionally guest speakers are invited to the meetings to speak on a variety of topics.
During the year we hold a number of fundraising activities including raffles, Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls and others. Your help is always welcome and greatly appreciated. Our fundraising efforts have been able to provide books, classroom and school wide resources.
By working in collaboration with the school community, we as parents can help enhance the learning of our children at St Patrick's. So come and join us and remember - YOUR VOICE MATTERS!
